Day Filled with Smiles and Togetherness

Yesterday, I had the chance to conduct a session with eleven psychiatric patients, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for me. From the very beginning, I wanted the session to feel light, fun, and welcoming, so we started with simple introductions.

At first, a few were hesitant, but as everyone spoke in their own way, the room slowly filled with warmth and comfort. To add energy, we played games like passing the parcel, which brought genuine laughter and excitement. It was amazing to see how such a small activity could make everyone feel included. Music and dance made the environment even more lively—some participated with confidence, while others joined in slowly, but the happiness on their faces said it all.

Later, we did a short Q&A;, which gave participants a chance to express their thoughts more openly. The final group discussion was equally meaningful. We reflected on what we had done, and many participants shared that the session made them feel lighter, happier, and more connected. Personally, I felt the same. This experience reminded me that healing is not always about strict therapy or heavy discussions. Sometimes, it is about sharing joy, laughter, and simple human connections that bring comfort and positivity. The session not only gave happiness to the participants but also left me with a deep sense of fulfillment and gratitude
